I haven't heard of this artist before but I am excited to learn, I really like the character design and I think its unique that you're taking influence from them.
I have some misgivings about using other people‘s artwork, It becomes a disappointment to prospective employers to showcase someone else’s work. The danger is in misrepresenting your own portfolio. Is there a way to pay homage to the artist without simply using his art... Having said that, maybe doing views where the figure comes off the page of the actual comic and becomes animated and discusses the work might work, that way the viewer knows it is you.
This sounds like a cool artist and I'm interested to see if you'll incorporate some of their work into the video
ReplyDeleteThis is a unique approach to a infographic, by teaching us about a person and their work. It will be cool to see how you mimic the artists style.
